(In order to really understant what  the Measure projet is, you need
before to read the introduction of "Monument to Life" and see the statues)

<<<  Space Measure

With "Measure" it is a question of thinking about and forming a projection of
what becomes of the infinite Arrow of Life and the look upon it as well
as its possible ties to our memory.

For the arrow of the Gambler to be complete, it needs to extend the
Gambling from the inner infinite to the outside infinite by linking
Knowledge, Consciousness and the Universe in its infinite number of aspects.
Beyond "le Joueur de la Vie" (the Gambler of Life) and through
him, look and action become one. The quintescence of the act turns
into a reciprocal play of perspectives with Consciousness via the
agent of the look.
The Look, which is the act before the act, reveals itself as the absolute afterness
of the very Action.  It is at the beginning and at the end as Contemplation.

Dealing with Art and Symbolism, "Measure" seeks its symbol which will realize -through
the absolute actor (the Gambler)- the typical modality of the look of the Modern directed
at the infinite outside (in terms of astronomy).
In "Measure" the (primary Cassegrain) mirror will symbolize the scientific perspective
and will be the instrument of the Gambling of Life.
Life, which own purpose is to overcome itself, brings in Will and the Game as determining
elements. This gambling is an endless emergence of the imaginary as the only bridge Will
can build between individual Consciousness and the Universe.
The absolute actor is the one who says by making use of the Universe through a mirror.
The center of the mirror and the navel of the statue are on the same line.

This group indicates the diversion of the so-called "objective" perspective by the imaginary
serving the will to affirm. So he who wills questions by reflecting to its source any light
surging from the Universe in order to understand it better by adjusting its reflection onto it.

"Measure" consits of two parts:
The first one, " Space-Measure" aims at and suggests the
realization of the infinite Arrow of Life as an interstellar drive which carries as its figure head
a statue holding a mirror and watching above the top edge at what comes in shot.
In addition to the instrumental and propelling parts half a dodecahedron arranged as petals
around the statue gives the object the shape of a flower.
In "Measure", just as the Universe is represented as a dodecahedron, that half of the Universe
which is man walks towards the other half.
This first part deals with the infinite outside.
The statue stands for the children of the earth, conquerors of the Universe as the infinite
playground of the imaginary in the service of Being.
By reflecting any light back to its origin, it forces symbolically
everything it encounters to receive its own image. Every part of the Universe entering the field
of the mirror will be self lit, self-enlightened, via the statue which, looking at it, will present
both elements (to each other): She, Offspring of the Earth, and the Universe where she paves
every way.
Shot at the center of the Galaxy, the flower-arrow of "Space- Measure" will invite
to peacefully offer our knowledge and conciousness to the Universe.
At a time when the conquest of the Earth is over and
when the conquest of the Universe is at its birth, I wish to offer a work that summarizes
the essence of this movement and serves as a reference of responsability:
-First by projecting a three-dimensional human figure into the
absolute volume including the necessary elements of consciousness:
the Look.... the Looks.....
-then, finally, by rooting a moral responsability symbol on the
planet of origin.
This second part of the work deals with the infinite interiority
as well as with remembrance.
So "Earth-Measure" is thus first composed of a part built in the
shape of a dodecahedron symbolizing the Universe; then of a statue
symbolizing the Earth sheltered by the Universe.
This representation of Mother Earth, for the Gamblers of the future, is holding the same mirror
as her child who is carried by the Flower-probe. This common element is the link between
the two parts of the work. One gambles, searching and forcing the Universe.
The other only aims at returning his own image to her child.
Just as Mother Earth bearing Humanity, the statue will be a pregnant woman.
She will be sitting, and will observe her visitor over the top edge of the mirror.
A child (any visitor) comes to his mother after many a long trip. She smiles at him and echoes
to him his own self, inviting him to a deeper knowledge of himself.

This work addresses the individual to the conscience and
responsibility of any conqueror. The statue will be seated on a three legged stool,
recalling the consulting of the oracle in Delphi, reversed though by the mirror,
signing the end of every answer to the questions about the future...
See for yourself !

At a fixed date (that from which "Mesure-Espace" starts), a hologram
of the embarqued statue will re-present the Player-Gambler
face to face with his mother: the Keeper of remembrance and measure.
